Our Journeys story of the week is “The Ugly Vegetables.” We have 14 spelling words and 2 challenge (bonus) words. We also have 10 high frequency words. Please have your child practice reading, writing, and spelling both lists of words. Vocabulary words and Grammar skill (proper nouns) for lesson 7 are in the Journeys textbook, if you’d like to review these with your child. Language arts tests will be on Friday, October 20th.

We’ll be starting chapter 3 (Place Value) in Sadlier Math, and we’ll be learning about pumpkins in Science.
