Our Journeys story of the week is “Henry and Mudge: The First Book.” There are 14 spelling words and 2 challenge (bonus) words. There are also 10 high frequency words. Please have your child practice reading, writing, and spelling both lists of words. Vocabulary words and Grammar skill for lesson 1 are in the Journeys textbook, if you’d like to review these with your child. Language Arts tests will be on Friday, August 25th.
We’re working on Addition to 20 in Sadlier Math. Practicing math facts using flash cards is a great way to help your child become more confident in math.
