Our Journeys story of the week is “Mr. Tanen’s Tie Trouble.” There are 14 spelling words and 2 challenge (bonus) words. There are also 10 high frequency words. Please have your child practice reading, writing, and spelling both lists of words. Vocabulary words and Grammar skill (pronouns) for lesson 16 are in the Journeys textbook, if you’d like to review these and the story with your child. Due to the shortened school week, we’ll be spending this week and next week on lesson 16. Language arts tests will be on Friday, January 26th.
We’ll be learning about measurement in Sadlier Math, chapter 6.
ReadnQuiz: Please make sure your child reads his/her RQ book and passes the RQ test before Monday, January 22nd. All library books need to be returned by Monday, 1/22.
