Homework for week 12/11 - 12/15

Our Journeys story of the week is “Helen Keller.” There are 14 spelling words and 2 challenge (bonus) words. There are also 10 high frequency words. Please have your child practice reading, writing, and spelling both lists of words. Vocabulary words for lesson 14 are in the Journeys textbook, if you’d like to review these and the story with your child. Due to the short week, we’ll only test over Vocabulary, Spelling, and Reading Comprehension. Language arts tests will be on Thursday, December 14th.

We’ll finish chapter 5 in Sadlier Math, 2-digit subtraction with and without regrouping, and will have the chapter test Friday, December 15th, right after Mass.

ReadnQuiz: Please make sure your child reads his/her RQ book and passes the RQ test before Monday, December 11th. All library books need to be returned by 12/11.

Vocabulary words and Grammar skill (quotation marks) for lesson 13 are in the Journeys textbook, if you’d like to review these with your child. Language arts tests will be on Friday, December 8th.
