 Our Journeys story of the week is The Ugly Vegetables. We have 14 spelling words and 2 challenge (bonus) words. Please have your child practice writing these each night. I’ve added a dictated sentence to the spelling test. Please have your child practice writing complete sentences using the spelling words; you can dictate the sentences to your child or have them write sentences on their own. I’ll be checking for capitalization at the beginning of the sentence and punctuation at the end on the sentence I dictate for the test.

We have 10 high frequency words this week. Please have your child practice reading these to you daily.
